High School Sports Information Director Job Description

Sports Information Director for High School Athletic Departments

Let’s face it, Athletic Directors wear more hats than anyone! The role can become nearly unmanageable with all the responsibilities that come with it. Yet, athletic directors always go above and beyond to support their student-athletes, coaches, and communities.

Promoting your programs, branding your athletic department, and communicating with your constituents are likely top priorities for you. With limited time and resources, it can be difficult to maintain your athletic website and manage your outreach consistently.

At the same time, there are many talented students at your school who would love to be involved in your athletic department. Some may be student-athletes, and others may have a personal passion for sports even if they aren’t on your teams. They simply want to get more involved, gain valuable experience, and contribute to their school.
