As the Athletic Director of North Plainfield High School, Sean Dowling is responsible for organizing events, managing schedules, verifying eligibility, updating the website and social media, meeting with parents, and much more on any given day.Â
“…When I started – I’ve been doing this for a while – we started with a big ledger.” Dowling said. “We had all our schedules on paper.”Â
With everything he needs to get done, managing schedules with paper became inefficient and challenging.

“When I organize events, and I see ordinary kids do extraordinary things – that’s just so wonderful for me.” Dowling said. “Then when the kids come back, when the kids thank me, there are just smiles on their faces before and after games, that’s just very gratifying.”
