Savannah Shaw finished off her athletic career at Upper Saint Clair strong. With her best personal time, the senior ran the 1,600m and earned a time of 4:49.51, taking fourth in the race. She previously earned state recognition and qualified for this year’s state championship in the 800m run. On top of these achievements, she earned eighth place overall at the New Balance National Indoor Championships in New York City for the women’s mile.
Because of her success as an Upper Saint Clair Panther, she was awarded the Girls Athlete of the Year Award from the Observer-Reporter in Washington, Pennsylvania.
While she has had an amazing high school career in Track and Field, she also shines in Cross Country.
She plans to continue her career at North Carolina State University next year.
