Cox Mill (NC) junior Wendell Moore Jr, helped lead the United States to a gold medal at the FIBA 16U Americas Championship beating Canada in the final 111-60. Moore finished the championship game with seven points, four rebounds, two assists, and three steals in 21 minutes of play.
