Rochester High School (MI) continued its monthly series of spotlighting their team head coaches. In September, that’s current Freshman Basketball Coach Hal Commerson, who has been coaching at RHS for over 40 years. As a 2008 Rochester Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, Commerson has held several positions across the athletics department including cross country, track, boys and girls basketball, and golf. He also helped lead the 1978 cross country team to Rochester’s first ever state title.
