Lexington (SC) wins Lower State Title, gears up for State Championship

The Lexington Lady Wildcats (SC) claimed the South Carolina Lower State title in a nail biter versus Wando HS this past week, netting the game winner in overtime with only 1:18 left on the clock in the 2nd period.
The win moved the girls to 21-1 on the season and into the state title game which took place Saturday against JL Mann in a rematch of 2016’s 5A title game which Lexington won in overtime.
