Lead by Notre Dame recruit Abby Prohaska, the Lakota West Firebirds have won 12 straight since a season-opening loss to Hamilton Heights Christian, putting them at #25 in the country on the ESPNw Women’s Basketball Power Rankings.
This year’s team is the third squad in school history to make the list, including the 2007-08 Ohio D-1 State Runner-up team (who attained a final ranking of 25th) and the 2014-15 Ohio D-1 State Championship team (who had a final national ranking of 26th).
