With their 5-0 sweep of the West Ottawa Invite, Stevensville Lakeshore (MI) took home their 99th wrestling invitational title, but the night went to Lancer coach Bittenbender, who took home his 900th career win in 48 years of coaching. At the meet, Bittenbender’s wrestlers bested three other teams battling for league titles, including a mentor vs. mentee showdown with Rockford, whose coach Brian Richardson, was a former Lakeshore Lancer graduate and wrestler himself.
