In the Blazers’ 47-14 win over Mt. Whitney, senior Gonzalo Rodriguez rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns, surpassing the all-time rushing record for the city of Visalia, California with 4,261 yards in his career. The record, last set in the 2003-2004 season by El Diamante’s Wayne Jones, has been tracked in Visalia since the first high school football game played in the town in 1895.
