Shaler Area Titans (PA) Win at Home For First Time Since 2011
The Shaler Area Titan Football team caused bedlam at Lou Martig Field Friday night in upending the Hampton Talbots 29-28. Scoring 15 points in the last 6 minutes the Titans were able to overcome what seemed an insurmountable lead near the end of the fourth quarter.
The win was the Titans’ first at Lou Martig Field since 2011.

Eastbrook High School (IN) Golf Team Wins First CIC Girls Golf Championship
Eastbrook girls golf won their first CIC Girls Golf Championship last week with a total score of 384. They were led by Jenna Boucher with an 84, Haylee Bright with a 96, and Allyssa McKinney with a 99. Boucher, Bright, and McKinney were all conference.

Contest Official Rules
i. Official Titles
VNN / Reebok JJII Clean Slate “Comeback Story” (hereby referred to as ‘the Contest’)
VNN and Reebok are hereby referred to as the ‘Contest Entities’
ii. No purchase necessary
There is no purchase necessary to create an entry to the Contest. Making a purchase of the Reebok JJII Clean Slate trainer does not improve your chances to win. Information as to how entries will be judged and prizes will be awarded is located in Section vii below.
iii. Promotion Description
The Contest gives entrants a chance to win Reebok gear signed by JJ Watt by submitting their best comeback story to the email address jjcomebacks@vnnsports.net, which will be judged using the criteria in Section vii to select a winner.
iv. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia over the age of 13. Excluded are employees and immediate families of the Contest Entities and their associated companies and agencies and participating outlets. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or 1st cousin.
All entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of their legal parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter. The parent or guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all Terms and Conditions. The parent or guardian may be called to verify consent and may be required to sign a release at the discretion of the Contest Administrator. The release will require the winner’s parent or guardian to accept responsibility for the acts and forbearances of the winner. The release will include the full name, address and telephone number of the winner’s legal guardian. Failure to provide such proof, particulars or releases will immediately invalidate the winner’s entitlement to the prize, subject to State and Territory legislation. If the Contest winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
The Contest Administrator reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity or proof of registration ownership in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Administrator. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
If you are not a permanent resident of one of the 50 states or you are not the required age as of time of entry, you are not eligible to enter the Contest or to win a Prize. VOID IN ANY LOCATION WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
v. Prizes
Prizes for the Contest include (5) pieces of Reebok gear, signed by JJ Watt, as defined by the Sponsor. Entrants are eligible to win (1) prize with their entry, making five total winners. If the specified prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the contest entities in their sole and absolute discretion may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
vi. How to Enter
Entering the Contest consists of sending an email to the email address jjcomebacks@vnnsports.net, which will include the entrant’s ‘comeback story.’ The contest is limited to (1) entry per person, defined as the earliest time-stamped email received by the Administrator.
Contest entries are accepted through kickoff of the NFL’s Houston Texans’ Week 2 game against the Tennessee Titans, scheduled for 12:00pm CDT on 09/16/18. If in any case kickoff is delayed beyond the scheduled time, entries will continue to be accepted through then. Kickoff is defined as the moment the football is kicked off the tee to start the game.
vii. Winner Selection
Contest winners will be chosen through a compiled scoring system based on separate votes from five representatives of the Contest Entities. Criteria is listed below, with scores being ranked on a 1-10 scale to define a ‘comeback story’s’ aggregate score. The total scores will be added up, with the top five scores named winners of the Contest. Entries will be ranked on:
-Situation and circumstances (How high were the stakes?)
-Adversity (How much adversity was overcome?)
-Motivation (How much does this story serve as an example for others?)
In the case of a tie for the fifth winner, the tie will be broken through deciding votes from new representatives of the Contest Entities that will continue with different representatives until a winner is chosen.
viii. Winner Notification
Winners of the Contest will be notified by email on or before 7pm Eastern Time September 24th, 2018 by the contest administrator.
The Contest Entities reserve the right to condition the award of prizes upon the execution by the winner(s) of a publicity release. Notwithstanding this reserved right, entry is conclusively deemed to be permission by the entrant for the Contest Entities to use the entrant’s name (without compensation to the entrant) if the entrant is a winner to publicize the contest and otherwise, as determined by the contest entities unless prohibited by law.
The contest entities reserve the right to require the winner to execute an affidavit of eligibility as a sworn document and provide other proof of eligibility as a condition of receipt of the prize or award if necessary.
ix. Privacy
Any entries to the contest will be subject to the administrator’s privacy policy located here. The contest entities will not sell your information to third-parties.
x. Limitation of Liability
By submitting Materials to the Contest, you represent and warrant that the Materials do not infringe on any copyright, trademark, property rights, rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party and that you have the full and unrestricted right to transfer the Materials to the contest entities free and clear of any claims or encumbrances.
You agree to hold the contest entities and its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns harmless from and against—and hereby waive any right to pursue—any claims of any nature that arise in connection with the contest entities use of the Materials submitted to the administrator and used in any manner in the contest entities sole and absolute discretion.
The contest are null and void in any jurisdiction where it is prohibited by law.
By entering the contest, you conclusively are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these contest rules and terms and conditions as well as by any rules specific to that contest. This is an irrevocable condition of entry.
The contest entities reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to terminate any contest at any time without prior notice, and reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to alter any contest rules at any time.
xii. Winner List
A winners list can be requested from the Contest Administrator by emailing jjcomebacks@vnnsports.net, on or before 12am on November 1, 2018.
xiii. Sponsor
The Contest is sponsored by Reebok, who is indemnified against any legal claims by the Administrator.
xiv. Administrator
The Contest is administered by VNN, Inc. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the contest administrator by using the email address jjcomebacks@vnnsports.net, unless otherwise specified. Entrant(s) acknowledges and understands that any information provided will be used for administering the Contest and in accordance with VNN, Inc. privacy practices found here.

Salado High School (TX) Boys Cross Country Brings Home Championship Title
On Friday the 24th, the Salado boys cross country team competed in the Belton Cross Country Meet. They competed against fourteen other teams and took home the first place plaque. Team members Hunter Haas and Logan Rickey took first and second team respectively, contributing significantly to the team’s win.

Frankfort High School's (IN) Competition Cheer Squad Takes First Place at State Fair
The Frankfort High School Competition Cheer Squad returned home from the Indiana State Fair with a first place win. They took the win in the Small Varsity with Music division. The squad will be performing at the IASP State Cheer Championships in October and the IASP State Cheer Championship Finals in early November.

Mishawaka High School's (IN) Sam Shively Commits To Playing Baseball At Taylor University With Brother
Mishawaka High School’s (IN) Sam Shively recently committed to continuing his baseball career at Taylor University, where his brother Luke (’17) currently plays. Both brothers will be in the 2019-2020 pitching rotation.
“The deciding factor to me was one of my buddies committed to Taylor that day, and it came to mind that I want that to be my home for the next 4 years.”
